Our very own Helen Dimmick first met Helen many years ago and she has always held her in high esteem, both personally and professionally where their paths have crossed in many ways, including both being guardians of Sheffield and its Assay Office, created to ensure the silver industry could expand in Sheffield.

Now, as brand Ambassador, Victoria will go on to represent the stunning collection of evening and occasion wear to showcase the many styles at future events and photoshoots.

Commenting on her appointment, Helen Dimmick said: “Victoria and I first met in Sheffield and bonded over our shared love of gemstones and Egyptology. I’ve a lot of respect and admiration for her and as soon as she wore one of our Eliza Jane Howell dresses, I knew she had to be the face of the brand! She wears the dresses so elegantly and she really epitomises what the brand evokes – a true celebration of a glamour, style and substance.”

Victoria is a member of the Company of Cutlers and attending exclusive events and charity functions is a key part of her duties and so a wardrobe collection to suit is essential. Victoria, who meticulously plans, styles and co-ordinates a weeks’ worth of outfits every Sunday evening will now be adding a new collection to her wardrobe where only the very best, well-designed and hand beaded couture will do.

Victoria Clarke Brown added: “It’s a huge honour to be asked to be the brand ambassador for this stunning brand, designed and handmade right here in the UK. As a trustee for Charities and a Non-Executive Director, I do get invited to a lot of high-profile events and I very often struggle to find a floor length gown in an appropriate style. There are just far too many prom dresses out there!

“When I tried an Eliza Jane Howell dress on, I could have played dress up all day! They are extremely flattering and now I have had my colours done through colour analysis to know what suits me best, I can make the most of the amazing colour palette they have for their beading, all of which are hand stitched into the dresses. I can’t wait to showcase the collection!”

The Eliza Jane Howell evening wear collection is inspired by the colours of rare important gemstones and bejewelled decoration that evoke the glamour and decadence of the jazz age.

Victoria has already handpicked three stunning dresses from the collection to wear to the Hallamshire Ball, a Black Diamonds Ball at Wentworth Woodhouse, the iconic location for filming Downtown Abbey and finally the Cutlers Feast white tie event and we can’t wait to share photographs with you!
